On 19ᵗʰ February 2003, a Dornier-228-200 of M/s Star Air Aviation was on a charter mission from Karachi to Nawabshah and back with four passengers on board. The crew comprised Capt Tanvir Afgan (Pilot in Command), Capt Nadir Iqbal Mirza (Co-pilot) and Mr Anzar (Engineer). The aircraft taxied out to the apron and gave a call for returning without announcing any reason. When crossing through th second ASF security barrier on the return journey, the aircraft drifted to the rightsicfe of the taxi line by about 18.5 feet, which caused the right hand engine propeller (i.e. No 2 Engine Propeller) to hit the steel-pipe barrier gate. The aircraft continued drifting on to the same side until it collided with thewall and came to a halt. There were no physical injuries to any of the occupants. The aircraft, however, sustained engine / structural damage.
