On 10ᵗʰ August 2007, an Airblue Flight No. ED 405 from Lahore to Karachi at 1443 UTC experienced "Map Shift" during approach while it was 3 to 5 NMS from the runway. It was reported by ATS that aircraft after being cleared for ILS approach to runway 25L, was observed on Radar maintaining the south westerly heading. Corrective measures were taken by ATC and aircraft was vectored for radar surveillance approach runway 25R. Aircraft reported field insight at 4.5 miles and landed at 1450 hrs on runway 25R. After landing pilot reported that flight monitoring and guidance control system was giving problems.
