On 20ᵗʰ October, 2011, Piper Seneca - Ill (PA-34) aircraft of M/s Schon Air Reg. No. AP-BOK took off from Nawabshah at 1040 LT for JIAP, Karachi. While en route from Nawabshah and Karachi, mishap aircraft experienced right engine oil pressure drop and oil temperature rising along with visible oil leak from right engine area. To secure the affected right engine, it was feathered and flight was continued for destination with single engine. Ten minutes later, the left engine oil temperature also started rising and reached red zone coupled with drop in oil pressure. The cockpit crew also observed loss of power and drop in engine rpm. The mishap aircraft could not sustain level flight at the assigned altitude and made a forced landed at position N 25° 02.275', E 067° 26.687' (at 17 NM North East of JIAP, Karachi) adjacent to Super Highway at 1138 LT. All the three occupants onboard the mishap aircraft survived unhurt, how ver, the aircraft sustained substantial structural damage.
