On 23 November 2011, M/s. PIAC Flight No. PK 2226, Aircraft B-747-300, Reg. No. AP BFY was scheduled from Jeddah to Sialkot. Due to Sialkot visibility 250 meters, the flight diverted to AIIAP, Lahore and landed RWY-36R. There was no abnormality observed by any cockpit crew during landing. At AIIAP, Lahore, during routine aircraft inspection PIAC Flight Safety Officer informed the Duty Manager Airside at 0630 hrs approximately, that the No. 4 Engine Pod has been found damaged. During runway inspection marks of scratches on right side of centre line Runway 36R abeam PAPI were observed, and Touchdown Zone Light No. 78 was found damaged.
