On 5 January 1983, Piper Apache aircraft AP-ALS was operating a charter flight from Walton to Sukkur, Sibbi, Multan, and back to Walton. During the return flight after refuelling at Multan, the crew observed higher fuel consumption on the right engine near Sahiwal and suspected a fuel leakage. As a precautionary measure, the pilot carried out a forced landing at Okara airfield. The aircraft remained undamaged and all occupants were safe.
