On September 27, 1983, an aircraft was conducting aerial spray operations at Sindh near Daharky. Approximately 35 minutes after takeoff (1740 hrs), while returning to base, the pilot heard an unusual loud grinding noise accompanied by vibrations. Suspecting an engine malfunction, the pilot elected to perform an immediate emergency landing. The aircraft was force-landed safely in the desert, resulting in only very minor damage to the aircraft structure and no reported injuries.
