A senior Pakistan Air Force officer and command pilot with over 3,500 flying hours across trainer and frontline fighter aircraft. Commissioned in 1996 (105 GD(P) Course), he is a Qualified Flying Instructor, combat-qualified fighter pilot and former lead of the Sherdil aerobatic display team, and has commanded an Advanced Jet Training Squadron. His staff career spans operational planning and international liaison — including duty at HQ CENTCOM (USA) and senior appointments at Air Force Strategic Command. Formally qualified in aircraft accident investigation, human factors and safety management, he currently serves as Director of the Bureau of Aircraft Safety Investigation Pakistan (BASIP).
