Additional Secretary Aviation
Major General Qaisar Suleman, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) has been appointed as Additional Secretary Aviation, Ministry of Defence on 06 August 2025. He was commissioned in an Infantry Regiment in 1993. He is a graduate of Command & Staff College Quetta, National Defence University Islamabad and holds Master's Degree in War Studies. The General has specialized in Counter Terrorism from Asia-Pacific Centre for Security Studies, Honolulu, USA and Military Doctrine and Warfare Sciences from Joint Services Command and Staff College, UK.
The General has a vast experience of command and staff assignments. He has commanded an Infantry Division at Lahore an Infantry Brigade in Awaran Baluchistan. His staff assignments include Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade, Assistant Military Secretary at Military Secretary Branch GHQ, General Staff Officer (Grade-1) Plans and Colonel General Staff.
He has served as part of United Nations Peace Keeping Force in DR Congo and remained Deputy Commander at United Nations Mission Darfur (Sudan).
In recognition of his outstanding professional services, he has been conferred with the award of Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).
