PIAC Flight PK 259, Boeing 737-300 aircraft Reg. No. AP-BEH was operating a routine revenue flight from Sialkot to Muscat on 11ᵗʰ February, 2013. The flight remained uneventful till landing. During landing at Muscat at 0930 UTC (daylight conditions), the left main landing gear of the aircraft collapsed. The aircraft left wing sustained substantial damage around landing gear attachment points due to landing gear collapse. The shimmy damper piston and torsion link also fractured. The left engine cowling came in contact with ground and dragged along on the runway resulting in damage to engine cowling, lower engine parts, thrust reverser blocker doors and honey comb structure.
