M/s Shaheen Air International (SAi) A-320-232 aircraft Reg. No. AP-BLH was scheduled for a routine flight NL-766 from Lahore to Dubai on 2ⁿᵈ June, 2016. At approximately 0625 hrs UTC during takeoff, the required thrust did not develop and aircraft rejected take off. Once aircraft became under control, runway was cleared and engines were switched off on taxiway "U". Due to high brake temperatures, three main tyres got deflated, however No. 2 tyre got burst approximately 30 minutes after the aircraft was stopped.
