Boeing 737 Registration AP-BCA Operating Flight PK-381 landed at Lahore International Airport on 22nd April 1987 from Islamabad. With the following snag ''On take off from Islamabad after lift off E.G.T of No.1 engine abruptly increased from 870°C to 950°C and tended to increase rapidly if the throttle was not pulled back to 70% Nl. However EGT settled down at 830°C after throttle was kept at 70% Nl for two minutes. During cruise all parameters were normal.
