Boeing 707 aircraft Registration Mark AP-BBK was operating Flight PK-326 from Karachi to Peshawar on 17th October, 1990. It landed Peshawar at 1650 hrs LT. After touch down the Pilot reported that the aircraft failed to decelerate below 80 Kts. Maximum thrust reversers were applied and as normal brakes were in-effective the aircraft was stopped by applying emergency brakes in the overrun of Runway 35. Two tyres, No.1 forward and No.2 rear tyres burst during the landing roll which caused the left hand main landing gear boggie to sink in the over run.
